This was the scene at Liz Dawn's recent 70th birthday party, held at the Old Grapes Pub, which she also owns. As you can see, the champagne was flowing, the cake was exploding and doesn't she look terrific? Happy Birthday Liz - we miss you Vera!
Did you know? That ex-Corrie Producer, Brian Park is seriously ill in an Italian hospital? He was at his holiday home in Northern Italy when he complained of a headache, and is now fighting for his life following surgery after suffering a brain aneurysm.
Brian was pretty unpopular when he was head of Corrie, he killed off long time characters like Derek Wilton, and introduced us to the Battersby's, whom everyone hated at first. He hasn't been idle since leaving the Street though, he went on to produce Bad Girls and Footballers' Wives amongst other things.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
